What is the S+ Strength Training Method?
S+ combines a very effective and safe strength training method backed by decades of research, with the personalized guidance and care of a dedicated trainer.
It leverages the established benefits of strength training, modern neuroscience and takes a bio-psycho-social approach to motivate and keep clients consistently improving. With sessions lasting no more than 30 minutes, a personal trainer dedicated to you, that knows you and your goals and is by your side every step of the way, consistency and progress are assured.
What is it that you do and why is it so effective?

Consistency
Let's face it, exercising can be a drag, but we make it easier by providing a supportive environment. We make sure you show up consistently because you have a scheduled session with your trainer whom you have gotten to know well, and who also knows you – it’s harder to cancel an appointment than to decide to “skip the gym today…”. This consistency, combined with incremental progress, leads to improvements in your muscles and overall fitness.
Progression
Our trainers take meticulous notes during each session, tracking what works and what doesn't, to make sure that your workouts build on one another. We know how to adjust your sessions accordingly. If you've had injuries, we know what to do, and focus on exercises that promote healing.
We work with your schedule to ensure you can train at least once a week, every week and that over time you get better and better.
Efficient and Effective
Each session is efficient and effective. Sessions last no longer than 30 minutes. You'll start right away, without needing to change or wear special clothes. Our strength training method is designed to push you just hard enough so you get results, but not so hard you risk injury. We adjust the intensity to match your energy levels, and you'll work at your own pace. We’ll guide you through each exercise, and you'll take short breaks between sets to recover from your effort. You'll repeat this process, training as hard as you can, resting, and repeating. Sometimes, sessions can be as short as 20 minutes! You'll leave feeling accomplished, a little fatigued, but with a sense of pride knowing you've done your workout for the week.
Just like all S+ clients, with consistent training, you'll see progress and improvement every week - and that’s with only one or two 30 minutes sessions per week!
